It's not just Max. We went to buy a bike helmet for Finlay who outgrew the one that's supposed to fit 3-5 year olds and we tried to find a 5-8 year old one that fit him... didn't happen. Finlay is currently the proud owner of a 8-14 year old's bike helmet which will hopefully be protecting his head for years to come. I'm hoping that once Max has the neck strength he'll fit into the one that Fin grew out of... but I'm not counting on it. Shouldn't be long though. He's getting quite strong! and like his brother determined to master the rolling over thing before he hits 3 months. This appears accidental, but he continues to do it whenever placed on his belly, so I think it just might be his laid back attitude which makes me doubt his intent.
We had a deliciously busy long weekend over which I took no pictures of any of our activities. We gardened and spruced up our front entrance, visited with friends and family and generally had a great time in the sunshine. I'll take some pictures of our new front step and freshly painted door and of our garden which Finlay was integral in planting and hopefully get them up this week. I hope the long weekened was as fruitful and lovely for everyone. Here's a few fun pics to tide you over. Much love.
