Finlay loves to help give his little brother a bath. However, he tends to find the idea that there is anything purely for Max is somewhat unacceptable. Thus, Finlay has decided he is not too big for the baby bath despite the glaring evidence to the contrary.
So when we next went to bathe the boys we convinced Finlay to use the big bath by agreeing that Max could join him. It was pretty sweet. Enjoy.
These past few days have seen Finlay really come around to accepting the big brother role. He's been an absolute pleasure to be around, and is constantly wanting to kiss Max, and show him things. Max rewards him with smiles and settling down when his brother is around. I catch Finlay talking to Max while they ride in the backseat in the car and today when we were at playgroup I asked him to repeat something he mumbled, and he told me he was in fact whispering to Max that Linda (playgroup director) was going to read us all a story now. I feel so lucky to get to watch this friendship unfold.
